Eligibility

• Completed five years of a General Surgery residency prior to the start of the fellowship
• Certified by the American Board of Surgery or eligible to be certified by the American Board of Surgery.
• Certified by the American Osteopathic Board of Surgery eligibility and/or certification is also acceptable. 

No visas are offered at this time. A full Iowa license will be required on the fellowship start date, however, is not required at the time of application. Candidates who strongly demonstrate an aptitude and commitment to an academic career in Acute Care Surgery will be prioritized.
